Yesterday, Monday the 27th, I was at a job interview at IDG Denmark. Approx. two hours after the interview they called me back and said that I could have the job if i wanted…
Of course I wanted the job! It is a 6-month project where we - a team of 3 programmers and a project leader - are going to develop a CMS starting of with the XOOPS open source-system. It was a strike of plain good old luck that I found the job ad., it was posted on the 20th and ended on the 24th so me spotting it, replying to it, going to an interview and getting the job took less than a week.
What are the odds that the first PHP related job you apply for ends up being yours?
The only backside to all this is that I am going to use Windows as my work-platform, but I get to use Zend Studio… Wonder how using a big and expensive IDE will compare to using Kate??
Well, I’m off to vacation in Greece tomorrow morning and I’ll be there for a week - I’ll try to catch a computer around Monday and post some at this blog and reply to whatever mail I receive…
