Announcing the Jim Whimpey / Fangel joint strike force

A few weeks has passed since I announced I was going to create a small webapp to mimic Jim Whimpey’s All My Shit. In those weeks quite a bit, yet terribly little has happend.

Jim Whimpey joined the board and added some design features and ideas. I finished up on some of the blocks like Flickr pictures and the simple feed reader. I started to do some of the editing of blocks.

Yet still quite a bit remains. I need to finish up on how to edit blocks - the thing lacking now is how to save and how to get the changes to take effect. I also need to figure out how to add new blocks and how to reposition the existing blocks. How I hope I can figure out how to get Mootools Drag-and-Drop to work.

And for the sake of my sanity I also need to clean up some of the more hackish code I threw together when I was still thinking of the project as a proof-of-concept / for-personal-use type of project.
