Various personal reflections and updates.

Well, it’s been two weeks again, and I feel like posting a no-code-no-pundit post. Why? - well, because I feel the need to vent of a few things and share a few fun observations I’ve made.

How to spot an American band

I was at a Linkin Park concert this Thursday - and boy was it awesome. Imaging a few thousand people all jumping up and down at the same time. Just great.

Now, that was somewhat unrelated, yet the cause of my observation. The warm-up band was 30 Seconds To Mars (not impressed btw) who was obviously American. And how did I figure this out? Simple. They introduced one of their songs like this:

This is a song about freedom: Attack

Yes, I know thats a terribly biased. Yet I was completely correct. The band is from CA.

Scare Tactics Ain’t Cool

I was gonna post something about religion. But then I deleted it again because - well. Never. Post. About. Religion.

So now this post is one reflection short which actually is a tad sad. Never mind. The observant reader should be able to get the gist of it by reading the headline.

Pirates 3

I went to the movies yesterday and saw Pirates 3 and I loved it. Not a masterpiece or original in any way. But great entertainment. There was however one quote I really wanted to share - but left on its own inside my head, it vanished. How awful. So, I’m not gonna share it with you.

But to make it up, heres’s another one that I really like..
“It’s not about living forever, Jacky. The trick is living with yourself forever,”

And of course the movie ended just in time for me to miss the last train back home. But KG was kind enough to offer a place to crash.

Copenhagen, here I come

I just got a apartment in Copenhagen. It’s located at Vedbækgade (Center on this map)

I won’t be moving in right now, as I’m still serving at DEMA. But when I do, I’ll post here and invite friends and family to a housewarming. So be warned.
